Setting Up Your Profile

After creating your account, take a moment to set up your profile so JE-PFM displays information the way you expect.

Accessing Profile Settings

Click your avatar or name in the top-right corner of the dashboard and select Settings. The profile settings page lets you configure the options below.

Currency

Choose your primary currency (USD, CAD, EUR, GBP, etc.). This determines how monetary values are formatted throughout the application — including dashboards, transaction lists, and budget summaries. All imported transactions are stored in the currency reported by your bank; the display currency setting controls formatting only.

Timezone

Set your local timezone so that transaction dates and report boundaries align with your calendar. This is especially useful if your bank reports transactions in UTC and you want to see them grouped by your local day.

Display Preferences

• Date format — Choose between MM/DD/YYYY, DD/MM/YYYY, or YYYY-MM-DD.
• Number format — Select your preferred thousands separator and decimal style (e.g., 1,000.00 vs. 1.000,00).
• Theme — Switch between light mode, dark mode, or follow your system setting.

Name and Email

You can update your display name at any time. Changing your email address requires re-verification through a confirmation link sent to the new address.

These settings take effect immediately across all pages in JE-PFM.
