Our terms and conditions for using JE-PFM

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of JE-PFM, a personal finance management platform operated by Inner Agility ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

JE-PFM is a personal finance management platform that enables users to track financial accounts, import and categorize transactions, create and monitor budgets, and analyze expenses. The platform supports data import via standard file formats (OFX, CSV) and manual entry. JE-PFM is a tool for organizing and visualizing your financial data — it does not connect directly to banks or financial institutions.

2. User Responsibilities

By using JE-PFM, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • Maintain the security of your login credentials and not share your account with others.
  • Only import financial data that you are authorized to access.
  • Use the service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Not attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer the platform, or use the service for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose.

3. Financial Data

JE-PFM uses an append-only transaction ledger. Once transactions are imported into the system, they cannot be modified or deleted. This immutable design ensures a reliable audit trail of your financial history.

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you import or enter. JE-PFM processes and displays data as provided — we do not independently verify transaction data against financial institutions. Duplicate detection is performed automatically based on transaction identifiers, but you should review imported data for completeness.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

  • Free Tier — A free plan is available with limited features. No credit card is required to start.
  • Paid Plans — Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually at the rates displayed at the time of purchase. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
  • Cancellation — You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle.
  • Payment Processing — Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.

5. Limitation of Liability

JE-PFM is not a financial advisor. The platform is a data organization and visualization tool. Any insights, summaries, budgets, or projections generated by JE-PFM are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

You should consult a qualified financial professional before making financial decisions. We are not liable for any financial losses or decisions made based on information displayed in JE-PFM.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JE-PFM and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

6. Data Portability

You own your data. At any time, you may export all of your financial data from JE-PFM in standard formats including CSV and JSON. We believe in data portability and will never hold your data hostage.

7. Termination

  • By You — You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
  • By Us — We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or compromise the security of the platform. We will provide notice when reasonably possible.
  • After Termination — Your data is retained for 90 days following account closure to allow for reactivation. After 90 days, all data is permanently deleted.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via the email address associated with your account at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of JE-PFM after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
